Mark Rubin has provided some details in regards to the online multiplayer mode of the multiplatform video game, “Call of Duty: Ghosts.” According to a report by PC Games N
on Sept. 29, the executive producer revealed that the development team
ended up cutting a lot of the modes for the first-person video game,
hinting that some long time fans may not appreciate the changes.
Mark Rubin explained the decision was made in order to “introduce a lot of game modes,” especially during the launch period.
The development of “Call of Duty: Ghosts” is currently being handled by Infinity Ward. The Neversoft and Raven Software studios are also providing additional support in the creation of the video game.
“Call of Duty: Ghosts” is slated to launch on Nov. 5 for the Nintendo Wii U, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It is also heading to the PS4 on Nov. 15 and Xbox One on Nov. 22.

We tried to cut as many as we possibly could. The idea was, especially for launch anyways, to introduce a lot of game modes. One of the old modes that Infinity Ward decided to keep is Team Death Match. In this match type, you and your team must score a certain amount of kills before the opposition reaches the same goal. Mark Rubin stated that it was “pretty easy” decision to keep Team Death Match.
